In the case of a large CO2 supply with Pollen Glass Beetle Series diffusers, the CO2 Beetle counter is effective in measuring the proper amount of CO2. As CO2 bubbles rise in a spiral, you can easily count the number of CO2 bubbles.

My CO2 regulator didn't have a built in bubble counter... and I'm glad!
This bubble counter is the most beautiful bubble counter I've ever seen!
However, it's not just aesthetically pleasing to watch. It's very useful in counting CO2 bubbles more effectively when you're injecting at high bubbles per second.
If you have a regular bubble counter, a high BPS rate is difficult to accurately count.
The spirals of the Beetle Counter make it much easier to evaluate your CO2 injection.

The actual hardscape inside my aquarium gets my guests' immediate attention most of the time.
Their attention is eventually drawn to the Beetle Counter.
