YA is the basic regulator for the CO2 "Small Cartridge", which is the ADA disposable pressurized CO2 cartridge. Aqua Design Amano introduced the very first disposable CO2 cartridge system and has progressively improved the design over the years. Placing the highest value on safety and function, this easy to handle system makes CO2 application to any small aquaruim accessible to everyone. System 74-YA/ver.2 screws directly onto the disposable cartridge and the precision "Speed Controller" makes adjusting the CO2 supply easy and efficient.

System 74-YA/ver.2 regulator and the System 74 disposable cartridge must be kept in an upright position during use to prevent liquified CO2 gas from getting into the regulator and causing damage. A specially designed ADA Cap Stand is available for the specific purpose of keeping the bottle in a proper upright position during use.
